There are however, a few careers that are safe because of AI limitations like their inability to build a doctor-patient relationship or to pass an NREMT prep course<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, and in this article we\u2019ll explore them. Here are five medical careers that won\u2019t be replaced by AI.<\/p>\n

1. Occupational Therapists (Median Income $83,200)<\/h2>\n

It is also a field dependent on perception and keen observation of signs and symptoms. Although the Chinese AI robot was a success, it\u2019ll take some time for society to accept the idea of having a robot perform their tasks. The reason being that dentistry is a more social interaction than you\u2019d expect. The cliche of a dentist talking to you while you have 40 tools in your mouth is really what\u2019s protecting the dental industry.<\/p>\n

5. Registered Nurse ($66,826)<\/h2>\n

\"RegisteredRegistered nurses, perhaps, perform the most difficult tasks in medical facilities. They are responsible for total patient care, physician order fulfillment and employee oversight. Would a robot have the know-how to perform all of these duties? Would employees listen to a robot? The truth is that maybe. But what protects RNs from AI is the social and comforting interactions that only a human could provide.<\/p>\n

For nurses, it is not a question of replacement but how this technological advancement will assist them better to fulfill their critical health care duties<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you are looking for a career that won\u2019t cause massive job losses, the medical field is the right choice. Patients rely heavily on the one-on-one care that the health care community provides.<\/p>\n

AI can replace everything except human interaction and social skills. Career fields that require social intelligence will remain safe from automation, at least until society starts accepting AI into social fields.
