Passport and visas should be in place if you are considering treatment overseas. If you do not have a valid passport, calculate any agency or non-direct expenses you might need to pay to arrange for one. Travelling to and from certain parts of the world also requires a valid visa. It generally takes a fair amount of time to process these visas.
