The day Brian went to attend his best friend Robert\u2019s funeral, he didn\u2019t know that his own perspective to look at your life would be changed forever. Robert was in his forties. He was a fun loving guy who always gave the first priority to his family. Robert\u2019s wife Emily took a sigh of relief when she saw Brain there since there was no one else to help her making all the arrangement of the funeral. Emily loved her husband dearly and with kids who had hardly spent quality time with their father her life was difficult.<\/p>\n

An hour later when Brain was there in the living room, Emily came and said, \u201cRobert had bought this suit a year back and I even asked him many times to put it on but he always denied. He said he was waiting for a special occasion. Well, this is a special occasion, I suppose. There will never be a special occasion for him after this one.\u201d Tears rolled down her eyes when she said that.<\/p>\n

Brian didn\u2019t know what to say since he had always appreciated Robert for saving things for special occasions. Robert didn\u2019t know that something he thought was Robert\u2019s biggest strength would turn out to be one of his biggest mistakes.<\/p>

\u201cHe never spent time with his daughters. Whenever I asked him to make some time for kids, he always had the same reason. He always said that he was working hard to give them a good future. He thought after retirement he would get enough time to be with them but who knew the time will never come,\u201d Emily said and burst into tears.<\/p>\n

It was hard for kids to not to miss their father who meant the world to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cRobert spent all his life making money and never thought about making life. He died at a young age and gave a lesson to all of us. It\u2019s all here and now. You should not wait for the right time since there is no such thing. Those who say that you get enough time to be with yourself or to be with your loved ones unfortunately do not consider all the possibilities. It\u2019s life and nothing is certain. You must not wait for the right time since it never comes,\u201d Emily said as she left the room.<\/p>\n

Robert took an important lesson that day. He cancelled all his appointment for the rest of the week and instead made a plan to visit his parents in Florida along with his wife and kids. He wanted to give rest to his professional life so that he could proudly live a complete life instead of stuffing it with regrets.<\/p>\n
