Melisa came home late that evening since she had a meeting in her office. The moment her elder son Matt unbolt the door she saw her younger son Jeff running towards the backyard. She kept her bags on the table and asked, \u201cHow was your day sweetheart? Don\u2019t tell me Jeff bothered you today.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n

Matt thought for a while and said, \u201cIt is good to see you, Mom. It\u2019s hard for me to keep an eye on Jeff since he always comes up with wacky ideas to make me sick.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened, sweetie? Did your brother do something he was not supposed to do? What did he do?\u201d She asked as she was going out of words.<\/p>\n

\u201cMom, you don\u2019t want to know about it. He wrote something on the wall again. There is this big scratch on the wall as he had a sharp object in his hands. It tried to make him understand but he just didn\u2019t listen to me,\u201d Matt explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh my goodness, how many times do I need to tell him not to do that? Now I can understand why he ran towards the backyard. Call him here right now,\u201d Melisa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMom, you know he won\u2019t listen to me,\u201d Matt replied.<\/p>\n

Melisa rushed to the backyard where Jeff had hid himself. She knew where to find him as she had already done it many times before.<\/p>\n

\u201cJeff, Jeff, how many times do I need to tell you not to write on the wall? Your brother says you used a pointed object and made a big scratch on the wall. Is that true?\u201d Melisa asked at the top of her voice.<\/p>\n

Jeff came out and said in a trembling voice, \u201cMatt is lying, Mom. I didn\u2019t even go inside ever since I have come from school.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy don\u2019t you come with me? Let us see what you did back there in the living room and by the way, I saw you running outside. You can\u2019t lie to me,\u201d Melisa took him to the living room.<\/p>\n

Matt told Melisa to have a look right behind her to see the big scratch. When she turned around, she saw a big heart shape in which Jeff had written something. She went a step ahead, read it and all of a sudden, she had tears in her eyes in a spur of a moment. It said, \u201cI love my mommy. She is the best mom in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

She looked at Jeff who had a puppy face and was staring at him with his big eyes. She went towards him, gave him a tight hug and said, \u201cYou know mommy loves you sweetheart.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is certainly nothing as pure and divine as the love of your kids for you. They say that God made parents since He can\u2019t be everywhere and believe it or not but He made kids to bless his dear ones.<\/p>\n
