Designer Till<br \/>\nEwert Koenneker too felt the pinch of living in a small space all too well when<br \/>\nhis tiny studio apartment started to seem a tad too small to house his<br \/>\nwardrobe, shoe racks and storage units. Having a small studio apartment also<br \/>\nmeant that the designer couldn\u2019t get the comfort of a master bedroom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image001_2pmqz.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But, not to be deterred by the lack of space in the apartment<br \/>\nhe lived in, Koenneker decided to maximize the space with what he calls The<br \/>\nLiving Cube.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image002_zbkuv.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p>The concept behind the creation is quite clear, it is supposed to<br \/>\nbe a single unit that can serve as a closet, a small private walk in closet, a<br \/>\nlarge shoe rack, an ample storage space, as well as a loft sleeping that<br \/>\nfeatures more than enough space for the designer and a few friends, an<br \/>\nentertainment unit and extra storage space where the designer can dump all<br \/>\nkinds of crap.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image003_dqzbo.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>All in all, The Living Cube i<span style=\"font-size: 15px;line-height: 1.45em\">s a great space maximizing<br \/>\nsolution that could convert a small studio apart into a larger space with ease.<br \/>\nFor families living in the city, such a solution can be a great way to create separate<br \/>\n\u201cbedrooms\u201d for young children as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image004_zkqoe.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image005_pcsmi.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image006_yfxbv.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image007_ug9c2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/image008_t1ony.jpg\" style=\"cursor: nw-resize\"><\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maximizing small living spaces can be a huge challenge for<br \/>\npeople that cannot afford to get a bigger apartment or home.
