But we suppose Antonio Serrano Bulnes looks at these<br \/>\neveryday objects with the kind of inspiration that us non-artistic kinds just<br \/>\ncannot because he has come up with a new range of furniture that uses those<br \/>\nhumble objects as inspiration but looks nothing like them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/1_mzyhm1.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Well, at least the broomsticks inspirations isn\u2019t that<br \/>\nevident though we can totally see the wooden boxes being used nearly unaltered<br \/>\nin the Madrid-based designer\u2019s new LivingBlock collection. The designer created<br \/>\nthe new range for Mad Lab and claims that the idea behind the line originated<br \/>\nfrom his own childhood where he played with these objects! (How cute is that?!)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/2_ksvmp.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p>But even though the furniture line has very humble origins<br \/>\nfor their concept they look aptly designer for any living space with their<br \/>\nangular, clean lines providing a kind of warm and minimalistic look to the<br \/>\ncoffee table and the very cubed storage units.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/3_viyjr.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p>That being said, the designer apparently had no intention of<br \/>\nmaking the designs look minimalistic or drab in any way as the painted them in exciting<br \/>\ncolors and ensured that the broomstick legs used in the storage units give the piece<br \/>\nthe kind of character that regular stacked, cubed storage units just cannot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/4_coo1l.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p>The designer also wanted to keep the designs eco-friendly as<br \/>\npossible and made every bit up furniture without any hardware and instead uses<br \/>\nglued finger joints to provide sturdiness to the pieces.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 15px;line-height: 1.45em\">All the pieces have also been finished in natural wax which speaks<br \/>\na lot about the designer\u2019s commitment to recycling and sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/5_nptgo.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/6_9jcls.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/7_avz8r.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/8_kr5rn.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/9_aunt1.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default\"><\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When someone tells you that a range of furniture is inspired<br \/>\nfrom broomsticks and wooden boxes, you kind of automatically assume that it<br \/>\nwould look totally ugh and probably wouldn\u2019t be something you can display in<br \/>\nyour living space.
