However,<br \/>\nmuch like the guy that brings the fictional character of Tony Stark to life in<br \/>\nthe Iron Man franchise, Mr. Dowling Jr. too bring imaginary characters to life<br \/>\nthrough his surreal paintings. Blending adult and childish themes, the paintings<br \/>\npresent an animated and imaginary reality in a vivid manner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hometone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/01_xvi1r.jpg\" style=\"cursor: default;width: 394.32323232323233px;height: 298px;float: none;margin: 0px\" title=\"Surreal Paintings by Robert Dowling Jr.\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Working primarily with oils and acrylics, the artist usually<br \/>\ncreates characters with their faces turned away though every other detail in the<br \/>\nscene is quite life like.
