Old wives’ tales about predicting baby’s genders are still a great guessing game for mommies-to be. Although these traditional and fun-filled ways to predict your baby’s gender are still in fashion, there are no scientific facts to back them regarding accuracy. Check for yourself some ways to determine your baby’s gender.

Weight gain in Husband

Check for your husband’s weight in case you want to know about your baby’s gender. It is one of the old tales related to predicting baby’s gender. It says that if your husband gains weight, you have chances to be blessed with a girl. If not, you may have a boy.

Food cravings

Food cravings are one of the pregnancy symptoms that could help you in determining your baby’s sex as well. If you have a craving for salty and sour food, your baby would be a boy. However, if sweets interest you more, get prepared for a little girl.

Acne burst

If your face seems to have a severe acne breakout or does not appear as nice as it was when you were not pregnant, it means that you will have a girl. However, if your countenance looks radiant and much better than before, it could possibly be a boy.

Morning Sickness

Morning sickness is apparently one of the most common pregnancy symptoms that could also predict the gender of your baby. Some people believe that if you get severely sick, you would have a boy, else a girl. In addition, it is said that if morning sickness happens in the morning, you are having a boy. Sickness at night means a baby girl.

Hair growth

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block; text-align:center;"
     data-ad-layout="in-article"
     data-ad-format="fluid"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-9477973674766713"
     data-ad-slot="8885944693"></ins>

Hair growth is yet another symptom to presume the gender of your baby. If you are having a boy, you could have more hair growth on your body as expected. However, you may not grow body hair during pregnancy, if you are having a girl.

Belly

Normally, if you are having a boy, your belly would be round appearing like a basketball. The additional weight would be low and all out in front. However, in case its a girl, your belly would look like a watermelon, and you would be carrying high. You would be carrying weight in your hips and rear too.

Age counts

Another interesting way of predicting a baby’s gender is to add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived. If the sum results in even, it is a boy and if it is odd, you are having a girl.

Sleep tells

If your pillow faces north while you are asleep, it is a possibility of your having a boy. Whereas, during pregnancy, if your pillow is faced towards south, your baby could be girl.

Toddler’s expressing interest

Quite strange, but if a toddler apparently expresses his interest in a pregnant woman by asking about the belly size or so, she could be having a girl. However, if he doesn’t show any interest, it is a boy on the way.

Other indications

When you are having a boy, your hands would remain dry most of the time, nose would spread and your feet would remain cold during pregnancy. On the contrary, none of these things would be noticed, if you are carrying a girl. Even the color of your urine could tell whether it is a girl or boy. If your pee is bright yellow in hue, get prepared for a son and if it is dull yellow, your baby would be a girl. Moreover, if you notice a dramatic squirt growth in your chest area it means a girl is on your way, and if not, it could be a boy.

Recent Articles:

There can’t be anything more fun than predicting your baby’s gender when you are expecting.
