Nestled in the San Juan Islands of Washington, the transforming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olsonkundigarchitects.com\/Projects\/972\/Shadowboxx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shadowboxx house<\/a> features shutters that fold down to expose floor-to-ceiling glass walls, an office building with huge hand-cranked doors and a retractable glass wall. Inside the house is a glass-walled bunkroom that comes with six custom rolling platforms that serve both as sofas and as beds and lets the room morph and accommodate diverse functions. The shutters facing the water can be closed for security purposes.
