So far, no damage to lives or property has been reported.<\/p>\n<p>Spain is vulnerable to earthquakes for its location on the convergent plate boundaries between the African and European plates, the movement of which triggers earthquakes. No loss of life has been reported from the earthquake site.<\/p>\n<p>The epicenter of the tremor was Ciudad Real, some 100 miles from the capital, Madrid. Though, the intensity of the tremor was mild, it reminded the Spanish of the Madrid quake of 1954 that crumbled everything.
