But, to the surprise of all, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/china\/story\/0,,2088589,00.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a deserted boat has been spotted<\/a> near the coast of China.<\/p>\n<p>This is not what surprised the spotters, but what the boat was floating with &#8211; astonishingly it <strong>contained 5,000 of the world&#8217;s rarest animals, all of which are endangered, hunted, smuggled and now abandoned.<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"38520354a5201685ddf480eec688e1a7\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9477973674766713\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"8885944693\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Reportedly, the cargo was found to be carrying 31 pangolins, 44 leatherback turtles, 2,720 monitor lizards, 1,130 Brazilian turtles and not to mention bear paws! Other animals include an Asian giant turtle.<\/p>\n<p>With the pangolin populations of China, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia been wiped out, it has been banned form trade and sale. <strong>But, making a mockery of the ban, many Chinese restaurants openly offer delicacies of their meat. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Such a &#8216;Noah&#8217;s Ark&#8217;
