Ltd.  would be allowed to proceed with its construction of a 1-million-tonne-per-year plant in Inner Mongolia.<\/p>\n<p>Liquefied coal, although helps to reduce China&#8217;s dependence on petroleum, but at the same time liquefied coal projects consume a lot of energy. For such projects it has to fulfill high demands of capital, water and coal.<\/p>\n<p>In past projects China had always encouraged to convert domestic coal into liquid fuels, that is gasoline, diesel or jet fuel, in an attempt to cut down its dependence on imported oil.
