In 1986 when Siberian tigers reached almost the point of extinction, then it was decided to breed them in Hengdaohezi Feline Breeding Centre, located in the suburbs of the north-eastern city of Harbin, in the northern Heilongjiang province. And the efforts of concerned authorities were aptly rewarded when tigers&#8217; population begun rising once again. Today the population has risen so much that it has been decided to set them free into the wild and with release of 600 more the total population of Siberian tigers in the wild would be nearly 650.<\/p>\n<p>As Siberian tiger is one of the world&#8217;s 10 most endangered species, I am little skeptic that would it be safe to release so many tigers into the wild?
