The rare species of animals are dying. Starting from polar bears to walruses, marine and arctic life are getting killed as the planet starts to warm up. <strong>It has been reported that the Walruses have been dying rapidly off the Arctic coasts due to melting sea ice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike seals and other marine life, the walruses cannot swim for long periods. They tend to hang on to the sea ice for a few weeks at a time. Now if the ice melts, the animals won&#8217;t be able to cling on to the ice anymore. So, walruses are fighting over whatever ice is left and they are fighting for survival. Therefore, <strong>some of them are dying due to stampedes<\/strong>. Most of these animals died as they suffered from internal injuries caused from the stampede. Due o the massive numbers, Walrus are prone to stampede. Experts said that the deaths of this many Walruses along with their calves is very alarming.
