We have, apparently, put almost one third of the world\u2019s coral reefs at risk of extinction because of climate changes and human activities including increase in carbon dioxide levels, over fishing, development of the costal areas and sewage discharge. This is serious, considering there could be a heavy loss in biodiversity and could impact millions on people who rely on reefs for fishing. With the rise in the temperature of the sea, the water becomes more acidic, harming the coral\u2019s ability to grow and build its skeleton. The corals not only host a variety of fishes for us humans to fish and feed ourselves, they also play a vital role in coastal protection from storms and flooding.<\/p><div class=\"38520354a5201685ddf480eec688e1a7\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none;
