But have you ever thought of doing it from old windows and doors? Yes, you can collect these materials from a local secondhand furniture retailer, or your neighbor who has just renovated his house. Otherwise, you can simply make use of such old windows or doors that are left in your storeroom for long. Now, just follow the steps mentioned here and you are done. The height of two items in each pair should be almost same. However, a difference of 2 to 3 inches can be managed with wood. If there are holes, fill them with something slid and hard. Make frames for the walls with windows and support them with lumber. Make sure that minimum 14 inches of it is inserted into the ground.<\/li>\n<li>Set the walls one by one while bracing them carefully. Or else, they will not stand upright. The levels should also be checked in order to ensure that their positions are right. You should also secure the foundation of your greenhouse. In order to do that, skip the concrete foundation. Rather, go for cinder blocks and make the posts at four corners of your house stable with them.<\/li>\n<li>Now, it is time to fix the windows. Spend on some coated deck screws for this purpose. They can be replaced as well as removed easily. So, just screw them to the frames on the walls.<\/li>\n<li>When it comes to getting a floor for your DIY greenhouse, try to think exceptionally. What about using rocks or stones to make your floor? You can get them from a neighbor who has taken away the rocks from his yard recently. The advantages of rock floors include better storage of heat and improved drainage.<\/li>\n<li>The roof of your greenhouse must be light in weight. It should also be resistant to water. So, choose the material accordingly. But whatever material you use, at least 20 percent of the entire space of the floor must be left open for ventilation.\u00a0 Moreover, maintain an inclination of 4 degrees while making a slant roof so that you can keep rainwater at bay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You are done.
