The highly efficient cooling technology involves eight electrically powered fans to cool off the engines. The technology proposes to save about 700 gallons of fuel a year per bus. Without even asking for pounds of hydraulic fluid, these fans turn on when needed. The system has an efficient brushless alternator for more electricity and needs only 10 horsepower to do so.
