Designed by Dutch designers Tjep, the concept is a self-sufficient farm, restaurant, hotel and amusement park designed to sustain 1,000 people a day. The design incorporates original Dutch farm buildings with a touch of technology in order to create a self-sustainable system.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"oogst 1000 community by tjep 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greendiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/oogst-1000-community-by-tjep-2_7CpNw_24429.jpg\" alt=\"oogst 1000 community by tjep 2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All groceries used in the restaurants come from adjacent fields and food grown and raised on site. The hotel guests are privileged with a free stay, all they have to do is work on the farm. A biogas energy system is also implanted to use the waste in more meaningful manner. It offers the world&#8217;s first toilet where guests are paid for each visit, as the waste is used for generation of energy.
