Designed by the Beijing architects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.i-mad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MAD<\/a>, the buildings will have facades studded with photovoltaic panels to help provide them with abundant solar power. The concertina surface will create a natural passage for natural light and air as well. While it will cut down the expenses relating to heating and cooling solutions, the overall energy consumption also will follow suit.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greendiary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/taichung-convention-center-3_8zyeO_11446.jpg\" alt=\"taichung convention center 3\" title=\"taichung convention center 3\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Stretched over an area of 70,318sqm, the convention center will feature exhibition halls, a convention center, offices and retail spaces. The architects have been specially commissioned by the Taiwanese government to suggest an eco-friendly model for the proposed construction and they\u2019ve done a commendable job indeed.<\/p><div class=\"38520354a5201685ddf480eec688e1a7\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none;
