Their newest inclusion, i.e. the Smart Meter program, helps millions like him save huge bucks on electricity bills. After doing so, the machines feed the central computer with the data. Now, the user can see his peak usage and accordingly, customize his energy requirements. They can shut down their electrical appliances with high usage while they are not home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Awaiting federal aid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of now, the city administration is hopeful of receiving a federal grant of $20 million for the program.
