It has started an eco-campaign wherein it recycles cotton from denim jackets and blue jeans. It has collected over 200 pairs of denim and is seeking active participation from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the University of Memphis<\/a> students.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Brad Robb, the vice president of communications for the Cotton Board, says:<\/p><div class=\"38520354a5201685ddf480eec688e1a7\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9477973674766713\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"8885944693\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<blockquote><p>[The recycled cotton] is environmentally friendly. Not only is it just as good as regular insulation, you don\u2019t have to use gloves. It\u2019s not itchy, so that\u2019s a plus. [It takes] roughly about 500 average size jeans for an average size house, around 1600 feet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The eco-campaign, dubbed as \u2018Cotton: From Blue to Green\u2019, is supposed to continue through the end of October.
