The school has undertaken three eco-friendly projects to contribute in preserving the environment. All the projects are in their initial stages. A 17-year-old student, Maggie Rowland, is on the project under which biodiesel will be created. She obtains her clear auburn liquid that can be used in any diesel engine by mixing potassium hydroxide and methanol with the cloudy used oil that the school gets free from restaurants.
