According to the Metropolitan Police of London, knives and guns seized from London thugs are under recycling process to provide building materials for the 2012 Olympic Games. A portion of the material is being sent to the Olympic site in Stratford, east London. The force must be applauded for its green efforts. During the last financial year, the force recycled a total of 3,182 tons of waste, which included uniforms, firing range bullets and horse manure. Recycling of the arms is the most noble initiative for me though.
