However, if parents become authoritative and do not support their kids to choose for themselves, it could turn kids into rebel, who would wish to go completely against their parents wishes. Parents tend to make their kids subject to relentless drills to train them for future. But they forget that a safe and supportative present will make an enduring future, hence, making kids rebels.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Creating rift between parents and children<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In spite of numerous benefits of authoritative parenting, few parents do not approve of this style. They believe that constant conventions can create a rift between children and parents. The significance of authoritative parenting lies precisely at the time of drawing the strings. If parents become rigid towards their children, nothing can work to fix the split between them. Therefore, it is important to be assisting rather than dominating on kids to understand their requirements well.<\/p>\n<p><b>3. Depression in kids<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Authoritative parents have high expectations from their children. They regulate their lives according to certain rules.
