Now we have Dan Gladstone and Zachary Weindel hoping to cross the Atlantic on a homemade catamaran dubbed the Landlord Independent. Balancing the plausibility of such an adventure against a materialistic lifestyle, the duo is up for making the real difference. Two 40-foot catamaran hulls containing sixteen 55-gallon drums, act as the pedestals to a 25-square-foot deck. The Landlord Independent is powered by the wind, hydro and solar energy.
