  • The Giant Puffball (Calvatia Gigantia)
As the name indicates, this mushroom is large and although it may not be perfectly round in shape but it roughly resembles a soccer ball. Some of them might be bigger than a soccer ball. The largest Puffball grown so far weighed 50 pound and measured at 5 foot.
  • The Devil’s Cigar (Chorioactis)
Shaped like a star, this mushroom is one of the rarest fungi discovered so far. Also called as Texas star in many parts of the world, the Devil’s Cigar is a treat to behold.   • The Brain Mushroom (Gyromitra esculenta)
Widely found in Europe and North America, this mushroom resembles the irregular shape of a brain and it appears in a dark brown color. If eaten in raw form, Brain Mushroom can have a fatal effect on human body. However, people in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and in some parts of North America use it as a delicacy.
  • Sky Blue Mushroom (Entoloma hochstetteri)

When viewed from a distance, you will mistake this mushroom for noodles or pom-pom because of its close resemblance to noodle like foods. Because of the way it looks, it is known as Bearded Hedgehog Mushroom, Lions mane mushroom, Hedgehog mushroom, Bearded Tooth mushroom, or Bearded tooth fungus in different parts of the world.
