Light Lace illuminates the room incase of power cut

These days we have various alternatives to light up the house when electricity takes a break from its work. Apart from solar lamps, there are ample of portable lights that brighten up your house in the darkest hour. Light Lace is one such lamp that gets into power incase of an electricity cut. Designed by Filipe Timóteo, the lamp takes its inspiration from the traditional Portuguese Laces from Peniche IrRendas de Bilros de Penichel and by the minimalistic look to bring some light to our home. Light Lace is made using 196 LEDs connected to a rechargeable battery that comes into play when the power goes of. The top has a mask based on rents, which casts a shadow distracting you with its light.
