Bring the New Year to your bedrooms
- Balloons, streamers and confetti – Ballons can never go out of fashion. Young and old people alike love balloons for the cheer they bring and represent. To usher in the New Year to your rooms, why not create a false ceiling of helium balloons for the whole room in colors that suit the rest of the decor as well? You can also tie four balloon together stating the year which can be so fun and creative and will get you up and excited about the New Year . You can also add DIY tassles to the ends of the balloons for the festive cheer. Add streamers and confetti as well. They are so symbolic of New Year and celebrations. Go a bit more creative and create your own confetti poppers at home. Add tinsel to carboard cut-outs and give them a glittery effect.They are worth the effort and get you up and ready for the New Year in eery possible way.
- New Year’s Eve Garland – A garland right opposite to you when you get up in the morning which spells out ‘Happy New Year’ is so simple you can make one yourself with some leftover wrapping paper or any glittery cut outs. Cut the number or letters out of the garlands and stick them with glue and hang them on a string. Get festive colors to welcome the new year with joy. Hang one on the walls so that you can see firt thing in the morning.
- Twinkling lights – Twinkling lights are not necessarily for Christmas only. Get string lights in a single color and hang them on your bedposts or on the walls and doors. You can also make a ‘Happy New Year’ out of it.
- New Year Candles – Candles find their place in every bedroom so add a twist to your plain old candles by preparing them for the new year. Take four candles and place them in a row in order to denote the year. You can also add a zing to the candles by adding glitter to them and leave the numbers on the candles blank so the whole effect on the candles is party-like and very sparkly.
