My boyfriend is from Manchester, and he has invited me for the Halloween party at his home, which he is organizing on his own for the first time in last 3 years now! I am quite excited about the party, and I was thinking of wearing some steampunk clothing for the part to surprise him. I could check on different articles and fashion related stuff that this type of clothing comes from United Kingdom as classic literature exhibits this clothing in the novels. I am all 16 and I have wide shoulders, so I have thought of wearing a waistcoat over a rusty brown colored knee length pleated skirt, with long boots. Can anyone please tell me whether my attire sounds steampunk clothing anyways? I shall be thankful to you for some suitable advice!
