My father is 40 years and he is diabetic. His disease is not insulin dependent but he is suffering from type 2 diabetes which means that his insulin is normal but its not being utilized properly. He has been prescribed metformin for his condition and doctor his saying that he has to manage his diabetes through diet, exercise and proper routine.
