It is because of increasing dopamine levels through direct and indirect modulation of dopaminergic neurons. <\/p>\n<p>Alcoholism made a radical consequence on the prefrontal cortex. The effect of chronic smoking on the prefrontal cortex may be stronger than what it expected earlier.
