Nanotechnology may detect the earliest stages of diseases like cancer. Nano-sized particles can improve the quality of image. Ultrasound waves can sense nanoparticles and the particles can brighten the resulting image. The bright spots can indicate about mutating and growing cells going out of control.<\/p>\n

With the combination of ultrasound and nanotechnology, another process of diagnosis can be achieved in lieu of biopsy. Screening the tumors very quickly can be possible with these nanoparticles. It can reduce the need for a biopsy in many cases. <\/p>

Nanoparticles are smaller than any cell in the human body. And because of the tiny size they can pass through the blood vessels, capillaries, tumor tissue. The most importantly the tiny nanoparticles can carry a payload of medicine as well.
