Is there any possible link between maternal age and the onset of childhood leukemia? Prof David Ashley, head of Children’s Cancer Centre at Melbourne, has an answer. He says that researchers have already found the probable link between mother’s age and the age a child is diagnosed with Leukemia. <\/p>\n

The researchers are now ready to find out the causes of developing cancer in children and its cure. The research will help to identify with the cause of leukemia and other childhood cancers. They will use the latest technology to explore the gene prompt children to cancer.<\/p>

According to Prof Ashley, children identified with cancer at a young age were more likely to have mothers aged over 30. On the other hand, older children diagnosed with cancer were more likely to have younger mothers. <\/p>\n

He says further, <\/p>\n

the final solution may be far away but some major findings can be achieved within next ten years at least.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
