Cast provides a shelter applied by a doctor on your broken bones. It needs to wear for five to six weeks or whatever time taken to heal the injury. The healing time depends upon the quality of the care of it.<\/p>\n

The University of Michigan Health System says that the cast should be cared properly. It needs to stay dry, and for that reason taking bath is better than shower. Use a plastic cover on the cast while taking bath.<\/p>

Never put any object inside cast in case of itching. It may cause infection. <\/p>\n

Smattering talcum power inside cast may ease the itching. <\/p>\n
