The first human trial of an antibacterial contact lens got the ethics approval. The researchers at the Centre for Marine Biofouling and Bioinnovation invented this anti bacterial technology. The trail started from June 29. <\/p>\n

The trial will evaluate the qualities of the safety performances of an antibacterial lens in comparison with standard contact lens.<\/p>\n

The microbial contamination of contact lenses makes adverse effects on eye health. This trial will help to overcome this noteworthy problem. The contamination of contact lenses causes microbial keratitis, an eye disease that may lead to blindness. <\/p>
