The new research says that using spine injections targeted towards central nerve system (CNS)<\/strong> including brain and spine can prevent patients from rheumatoid arthritis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Patient with rheumatoid arthritis have symptoms of stiffness, inflammation and joint pain due to the attack of the immune system to the body. However, the activity of brain and spinal cord that influences the immune system is yet to be found.<\/p>\n

A compound called p38<\/strong> used in joint inflammation, impediments the action of an enzyme thereby decreasing joint damage. It sends signals to distant nerves with the help of central nervous <\/strong>system (CNS)<\/strong>.<\/p>

Various clinical tests are on progress to test whether blockage made by p38<\/strong> can be able to stop the advancement of arthritis. Along with it, more-fat soluble drug to be used in trials so that compounds can enter the spine and brain easily without using catheter.<\/p>\n

But experts warned that altering p38<\/strong> activity in brain can result in serious side effects also.<\/p>\n
