‘Abiocor’<\/strong>– the artificial heart approved with a humanitarian device for exemption <\/strong>by implanting it in a limited number of patients, with limited survival just for few months. Most probably 4,000<\/strong> US patients are to be benefited with the device initially.<\/p>\n

The device is to be implanted in patients with no scope to accommodate heart transplantation and suffer from severe cardiac arrest and heart failure problems, but can acquire anti -coagulant drugs.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

‘Abiocor’ <\/strong>made for men only due to its large size but exceptionally large women can qualify for its transplantation.<\/p>

\n<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n

Though patients cannot live long with the device transplanted but can be able to spend rest of life with ease as they can be able to escort, communicate properly with loved ones and can even celebrate family events.<\/p>\n

However, most of the health policy experts do not think it a cost-effective<\/strong> resource.<\/p>\n
