Very soon<\/strong> people may have to face the scarcity of the health practitioners<\/strong> in south Africa because health Professionals Council of SA (HPSCA)<\/strong> has struck off the names of those health practitioners who failed to pay the annual fee before the ending of deadline.<\/p>\n

The striking off health practitioners has restrained about 8,593 health practitioners<\/strong> from practicing. It is important to know that there is often privation of health parishioners in South Africa and this move by HPSCA may worsen the situation.<\/p>

According to the officials of HPSCA<\/strong>, those health practitioners who wish to get re-enrolled after six months but before 12 months they will have to pay the twice of the annual fee.<\/strong> On the contrary, those who will seek re-enrollment after 12 months they will have to pay five times more than the present fee. <\/strong><\/p>\n

I personally believe that the tug-of-war between health practitioners and HPSCA is certainly going to make the laymen suffer a lot.<\/p>\n
