Bringing a new ray of hope in the lives of thousands of people, a new study by the Japanese researchers states that it has pulled out a new anti-TB compound<\/strong>, which is capable of stinting the spread of tuberculosis bacteria(TB).<\/strong><\/p>\n

These researchers tried to find out the efficacy of the compound called OPC-67683 <\/strong>against tuberculosis bacteria by testing it on mice infected with tuberculosis bacteria and found that compound OPC-67683<\/strong> was very effective in multi-drug resistant (MDR-TB) strains of TB.<\/p>

This is really a wonderful news, not only for patients with TB infection but also for the whole world because by and by the number of people infected with TB is growing worldwide. According to an estimate only in the year 2004 about 1.7 million died of tuberculosis bacteria.<\/p>\n
