Pfizer has stopped the production of drug ‘torcetrapib’<\/strong>, owing to the rise in the number of unexpected deaths and cardiovascular problems<\/strong> due to the consumption of this drug.<\/p>

News published earlier had transpired ‘torcetrapib’ as an efficient drug for bringing down the level of LDL or bad cholesterol and for raising the level of HDL or Good cholesterol. However, this recent statements made by the producer company itself brings this drug as a dubious product. Earlier too, company had expressed that the use of this drug may raise blood pressure level but perhaps it was blind to the other side effects that the use of this drug may give rise to.<\/p>\n

However, timely disclosure about this drug has prevented this drug from growing into further complications.<\/p>\n
