A claim made by U.S. researchers that they have developed cattle which they believe is biologically incapable of getting mad cow<\/a> disease is much more than a breakthrough. Actually, all this became possible just because of genetic engineering, which has developed cattle without a particular type of gene, which play a significant role in progression of the disease.<\/p>

\n<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n

Through this achievement, hope has sprouted out that one day researchers would be able to develop animals, carrying meats that are more nutritious. In addition, declaration made by FDA that it would frame more strict standards for such engineered food animals indirectly ensures that such food would be safer.<\/p>\n
