Keeping this factor in mind, drug company Novacea is likely to come out with drug, Asentar (DN- 101), which is filled with high-dose of vitamin D, which contains about 50 to 100 times higher levels of vitamin D than normal. The trials of this drug are having abundance of positive response as trial carried out by now has come out with good results. Giving sanguine opinion about these trials, Nick James, professor of oncology at the University of Birmingham observes, ‘If the results of the phase III trial are as good as those of the phase II trial that would be significant.’<\/p>

Relying on these indications it can be said that this drug would provide with vitamin D without spilling out any kind of side effects.<\/p>\n

However, those who are eagerly waiting for this wonder drug will have to wait for a long at least two years as according to sources the advent of this wonder drug perhaps would not be possible before 2009.<\/p>\n
