\nIf you are a patient with schizophrenia<\/strong><\/a> then you can at least boast of being far away from deadly prostate cancer because in a new study it was found that eruption of prostate cancer was quite rare in patients with schizophrenia.<\/p>\n

The following words of Dr. E. Fuller Torrey, of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland exhibit the same view, ‘Lower than expected rates of cancer, in general, have been reported for psychiatric patients for almost a century.’<\/strong><\/p>\n

Interestingly, this finding is quite plausible because researchers have come out with this conclusion after a deep analysis of five studies conducted on the same issue. However, what exactly is the reason behind this equation is still not very confirmed. Therefore, still it would be too early to give an opinion on it.<\/p>

However, we can’t spurn away the fact that this study has fuelled the flambeau of further investigation that would definitely help examining the equation between Schizophrenia and prostate cancer<\/strong> in a much better way. However, earlier too scientists have tried to prove that that patients with schizophrenia are less susceptible to prostate cancer.<\/p>\n
