Before concluding this, researchers studied about 1,373 men, born between 1900 and 1920. The view hurled by this study states that regular but <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bidmc.harvard.edu\/display.asp?node_id=4951\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">limited wine consumption<\/a> may increase life expectancy up to four years among men.<\/strong> In addition, the study also found that men having up to two glasses of alcohol a day were at 33 per cent lower risk of death from <strong>heart attack<\/strong> and stroke compared to those who did not drink <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alcohol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alcohol<\/a> at all. Here it is important to know that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news-medical.net\/?id=4411\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previous studies<\/a> have also found that light to moderate drinking reduces serum levels of inflammatory markers such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/a-to-z-guides\/C-Reactive-Protein-CRP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>C-reactive protein<\/strong> <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Interleukin_6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>interleukin-6<\/strong><\/a>, which might also explain the <strong>protective <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/9466934\/site\/newsweek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">effect of alcohol<\/a> drinking against cardiovascular disease <\/strong><\/p><div class=\"4a90ee8f0cea4b4c96057cc051b7c66d\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/drprem.com\/medical-tourism\/marketing\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/drprem.com\/medical-tourism\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/12\/Medical-Tourism-Post-Ad-2.jpg\"><\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Excited over this interesting finding lead author of the study Martinette T. Streppel said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Our study showed that long-term, light alcohol intake among middle-aged men was associated not only with lower cardiovascular and all-cause death risk, but also with longer life expectancy at age 50.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>May be this study quite convincing but still the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanheart.org\/presenter.jhtml?identifier=1200000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>American Heart Association<\/strong><\/a> is not in a mood to recommend wine drinking to gain these so-called potential benefits. AHA believes that in order to reduce risk of cardiovascular disease one should regularly go for medical check-ups and should put some restraints on eating and living habits.
