\"smokingThe way smoking stirs up pancreatic cancer is no longer an unsolved riddle<\/strong> because researchers in the U.S. have found that the chemicals formed by burning tobacco called, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons<\/strong> increase susceptibility to pancreatic cancer. Telling more about these PAH chemicals James Trosko, a professor of pediatrics and human development, said:<\/p>\n

The PAH chemicals are related to the multi-stage, multi-mechanism process of cancer development.<\/p>

\n<\/a>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This finding has tried to look at the equation of smoking and pancreatic cancer in quite a different way because earlier researchers used to believe that PAHs bring some changes in genes, resulting in cancer formation. Throwing light on the importance of this new study Trosko said:<\/p>\n

This finding has major implications, including the possibility that dietary intervention might interrupt or even reverse the promotion of pancreatic cancers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Another good news leaping out of this study is that people who quit smoking can dramatically improve their chances of avoiding cancers.<\/p>\n
