These risk factors depend upon the type of diabetes that one has.<\/p>\n<p>Risk factors for type 1 diabetes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Autoimmune,<\/li>\n<li>Genetic, or<\/li>\n<li>Environmental<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"t-black11\">Risk factors for type 2 diabetes:<\/p><div class=\"4a90ee8f0cea4b4c96057cc051b7c66d\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none;
