David Sinclair and his team members are making a tablet to have prevention and protection from age-related diseases in the human beings are — different type of cancers, Alzheimer’s disease <\/a>and heart problems and thus adding some more years in people’s life to live.<\/p>\n

David Sinclair <\/strong>of the Harvard Medical School, and cofounder of the drug company — Sirtris Pharmaceuticals found a molecular compound known as resveratrol which is present largely in red wine, prolongs the lifespan of mice by 24%<\/strong> and approximately 59% in other living beings such as flies — Drosophila melanogaster and short-lived fish — Nothobranchius furzeri.<\/p>

The scientists of the company — Sirtris Pharmaceuticals are starting studies on the formulation of resveratrol in those persons who have the problem of diabetes, with the aim to reduce sugar level in blood.<\/p>\n

This new drug is formed on the basis of curing one illness at one time. Only what the medicines have not done is that aiming at the natural protection method of human bodies. The body is somewhat intelligent with complicated organism. The molecules of the body are not only miraculous but it’s the genes that have developed naturally and gradually to defend the body.<\/p>\n

The idea behind the formula to create resveratrol is that it raises the activity of a protein known as SIRT-1<\/strong>, which is thought to regularize the life span (length of time that is likely to live) by raising the activity by caloric restriction. Resveratrol increases the lifespan of mice. Mice live long if they have 30% to 40% less calorie. Resveratrol appears to imitate several of the biochemical effects of calorie restriction. It is thought that it could do the same in case of humans too.<\/p>\n

Human beings are born to die and they are not going to live on this earth for long time, but by the use of resveratrol people will more likely to live for one more decade.<\/p>\n
