\"air The Natural Resources Defense Council <\/strong>recently performed a test on air freshener
\nproducts. It was discovered that these air
\nsprays contain harmfull chemicals which
\naffected humans. Various chemicals which
\ncaused predominantly harmfull illness. Phthalates which is known to cause
\nreproductive problems and hormonal imbalance
\nin the human body was found in these air sprays, not only this, but it was
\nalso found that these air fresheners
\ncontained chemicals which could cause cancer
\nas well as affect lungs to perform efficiently.
\nThe Food and Drug Association<\/strong>(FDA) and the US Environmental Protection Agency<\/strong>(EPA) have failed to perform any spot checks or safety checks to inspect the presence of toxic chemicals.
\nThe National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) <\/strong>a part of the National Institutes of Health, found that exposure to a volatile organic compound (VOC), called 1,4 dichlorobenzene (1,4 DCB) may cause unassuming reductions in lung function.<\/p>

Moreover consumer’s can be exposed to various health hazardous chemicals which could complicate the human body functions. The soundness of the chemicals used in the products is completely ignored by the FDA. It has been observed that the FDA is practically making no attempts to safeguard American consumers from cancer-causing or hormone disrupting or lungs affecting chemicals, in almost all the consumer products. Had it not been for the efforts of The National Research and Development Centre<\/a> no one would be trying to protect the consumers.Only the two products tested by the NRDC — Febreze Air Effects and Renuzit Subtle Effects — comprised of nearly no recognizable levels of phthalates, yet the twelve other products tested positive for the chemical even though some were labelled “unscented” and none of them listed phthalates as an ingredient. Some products were even labeled “All natural!” (Which just goes to demonstrate, that the “All natural” claim is so untrue.)
\nOur bad luck is that we can walk down to any popular retailer and find that literally hundreds of different products that comprise of dangerous chemicals, many of which are well known to provoke cancer. These chemicals are openly added to laundry detergents, skin creams, cosmetics, pet products, household cleaners, car cleaners, dish soap, perfumes, shampoos and many other consumer products regularly used by consumers. Ofcourse, most consumers are in a dark that they’re consuming cancer-causing ingredients, and most retailers seem to have no relevance whatsoever in testing their products for dangerous chemical substances.<\/p>\n

By the time the average consumer leaves their home in the morning, they’ve already poisoned their liver, pancreas, kidneys, heart, lungs and brain. its high time to think over this sad plight that the consumers have been draged into unknowingly.
