Smoking as most of us know is harmful to health. The worst health damage occurs to chain smokers who smoke cigarette after cigarette without realizing the detrimental effect on their health. Hypnotherapy causes the ‘die-hard’ smokers to quit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In a recent study<\/a>, it has been proved that the hypnotherapy treatment will cause the smokers to quit after about six months or so. However, people are not quite sure how reliable this method is. The results of the study were published in the CHEST 2007, the 73rd annual international scientific assembly of the American College of Chest Physicians in Chicago<\/strong>.<\/p>

The researchers conducting the study looked at about 67 smokers who were hospitalized due to heart or lung problems resulting from smoking. These 67 patients were offered hypnotherapy. Roughly, after 26 weeks of leaving the hospital, 50% of the smokers turned to non smokers. These folks apparently used a combined treatment of nicotine therapy<\/strong> and hypnotherapy. I think smoking is sort of an oral fixation problem. Hypnotherapy<\/strong> should fix it by taking their mind off it.<\/p>\n
