Perhaps I won’t be wrong if I suggest you not to go far away while searching factors responsible for breast cancer, as the threat might be lurking somewhere in your house. Yes! In your house. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This assumption got electrified after a new study came out, holding butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) responsible for the emergence of breast cancer. During the course of study, experts fed lactating rats with BBP, which their offspring absorbed through breast milk. Significantly, ingested level of BBP was nearly equivalent to the Environmental Protection Agency’s safe dose limit of BBP for humans. Finally, what came out was a bit shocking. As per the outcomes, BBP was found affecting certain characteristics of the female offspring.<\/p>

It must be mentioned here that BBP is commonly used as a plasticizer for PVC, as carpet backing and for fittings such a pipes, etc. This is right that there is no study measuring the effect of BBP on humans. Still, it can’t be denied, for sure, that exposure to such chemicals might put humankind at higher risk – be it breast caner or some other disease for that matter.<\/p>\n
